A couple of years ago, while rummaging through some papers, I found old birthday cards from my parents. My mom was always so good at picking out the perfect card for every occasion. Seeing her handwriting made my heart so happy and brought back so many memories. I was already sending cards to my grandchildren to carry on her tradition, but one day, just for fun, I took a card-making class. That’s all it took – I was hooked! I’ll admit, my first cards were hideous, but the grandkids didn’t care. I kept at it, making cards for friends and family, and before I knew it, I got better and better. Next thing I know, I’m starting a business – after all, I have to do something with all these cards I’m making!
